Structural Welding

Structural Welding for Load-Bearing Work

Beams, columns, connections and reinforcement welded for load-bearing work.

Structural Welding overview

Structural welding is the part of a project nobody sees once the walls close in, and the part that has to be right. We weld beams, columns, base plates, connections and reinforcement for commercial and residential construction across Florida.

Every structural job starts with the same questions: what is the load, how does it transfer, and what condition is the existing steel in. We answer those before an arc is struck, then prep, fit and weld the connection so it does what the structure needs it to do.

What this includes

Beam and column work

Fitting and welding of beams, posts, columns and base plates, including tie-ins to existing structure.

Connections and reinforcement

Moment connections, gussets, stiffeners, clip angles and reinforcement added to steel that is carrying more than it was built for.

Field welding

On-site welding during construction and renovation, coordinated with your framing, concrete and mechanical trades.

Repair and retrofit

Corroded, cracked or previously modified structural steel evaluated, prepped and repaired.

Common applications

  • Structural beams, columns and posts
  • Base plates and anchor connections
  • Mezzanines and platform framing
  • Canopy and awning structures
  • Reinforcement for openings and renovations
